In global perspective, the strategic location of Thailand is one of the most diverse and most fascinating regions on the face of the earth. Countless traditions, histories, cultures, religions and agricultures emanated and flourished in this small part of the world than in any other. Westerners and the rest of the world are coming to recognize this fact. Incredibly, many of these people started to migrate in the “Land of Smile” espousing their nativity from cold climates to warmer one, leaving the rugged cowboy days to the seductive tropical lifestyles and forgetting the frosty days of winter simply to embrace the warm seas and apathetic breeze of seductive tropical season. In one reason or another, perhaps too many to count, many come to build homes near seas; along adjacent peninsulas, others prefer the mountains and some rather desire in urban frontage. Others just come to visit; but some never leave.
